Zhenya Avanesyan

Zhenya is an international trainer and expert in permanent makeup with professional practice since 2016, and the founder and owner of a permanent makeup academy in Los Angeles.

She is an international judge, sanitary judge, and award-winning championship participant, as well as an organizer of international PMU events. Zhenya is proficient in all modern permanent makeup techniques and is an expert in proprietary methods she has developed for the brow, lip, and eye areas, along with her own professional protocols.

In 2020, Zhenya founded the academy in Los Angeles, building its educational system and professional standards from the ground up (previously, her educational programs were successfully developed in Moscow). In 2025, academy students earned top placements across all championship categories, including lips, eyes, and brows, and one of her students became the Absolute Champion, winning all Grand Prix awards.

At an international championship in Dubai, a California representative competing as part of the organizing team and under Zhenya’s expert guidance took first place among participants from more than 50 countries in the hair stroke brow technique.

Zhenya holds over 30 international certificates from professional trainings and master classes and continues to advance her expertise in pigmentology, modern PMU techniques, procedural safety, and sanitation standards.

A dedicated area of Zhenya’s expertise includes areola restoration following mastectomy, as well as scar and stretch mark camouflage, requiring a highly precise, medically informed, and advanced aesthetic approach.

In her work, Zhenya combines deep expertise, strong methodology, and an individualized approach, setting the professional standards followed throughout the academy.
